Youth work for Empowering, Activating and broadening the Horizons of young people - Y.E.A.H.!

From the 07th to the 14th of November 2017 in Podgorica, Montenegro, the NGO TRAINING CENTRE "TARABA" is implementing its first Interantional project in the framework of KA2/Capacity Building in the Field of Youth of the European learning programme ERASMUS+.

Our aim in this project is to promote youth work and non-formal learning as a tool for promoting the empowerment, personal development, activation and inclusion of young people, as well as the collaboration among stakeholders from different sectors (local authorities, private companies, general public) for the creation of a more fruitful environment for the implementation of youth work practices and the recognition of non-formal learning.

To achieve its objectives, the project consists of 2 activities.

 1. International Training Course

22 youth workers from 11 different European countries have come together in Podgorica, to participate in a training course for youth workers on developing and implementing youth work activities and non-formal education tools and methods that can be used as a tool for youth activation and empowerment.

During the training course, the participants share ideas, exchange good practices and know-how and, finally, and develop skills in creating non-formal learning tools and methods, in designing and implementing youth work (local and international) activities, as well as in communicating with local authorities and policy makers.
